Estonia Showcasing the Future of Sustainable Building at Bygg Reis Deg 2025.

Estonia’s reputation as a pioneer in sustainable and innovative construction was once again on full display at Bygg Reis Deg 2025 - Scandinavia’s leading building and construction trade fair. This year, the Estonian pavilion brought together the best of our country’s building technology, design, and engineering expertise, showing Norway and the Nordic region what low-carbon, high-efficiency construction truly looks like in practice.

From engineered timber modules and solar-integrated façades to modular architecture and AI-driven design tools, Estonian companies demonstrated how advanced materials and smart design can go hand-in-hand to create buildings that are both environmentally responsible and aesthetically striking.

Highlights from the Event

The Estonian Pavilion was officially opened by H.E. Piia Mathisen, Ambassador of Estonia to Norway, who emphasized the importance of cross-border collaboration in driving the green transition in construction.

A special workshop on sustainable building brought together leading experts, including Norwegian architect Jørgen Tycho, who underlined the need to use locally sourced, carbon-storing materials. Estonia’s Ivo Jaanisoo, Deputy Secretary General for the Living Environment and Circular Economy, shared insights on circular design and renovation strategies.

Estonian architects Berit Freivald (ONE Architects Finland), Renee Puusepp (Creatomus Solutions), and Mihkel Urmet (TEMPT architects) inspired attendees with their presentations on modular design, co-creation, and the use of digital tools like Creatomus Modular Designer and AI-based solutions to bring innovation into educational and public buildings.

Our Company’s Experience

We were proud to take part in this dynamic showcase alongside other outstanding Estonian companies such as ARCWOOD, ARU Grupp, Roofit.Solar, ÖÖD Mirror House, Malmerk Klaasium, R-FIX, TEMPT architects, Creatomus Solutions, and more.

For us, Bygg Reis Deg 2025 was not just an opportunity to present our products and solutions - it was a chance to connect with Norwegian partners, exchange ideas, and see firsthand how Estonia’s forward-thinking approach to construction is helping shape a greener Nordic future.

The energy, innovation, and collaboration we witnessed at the event reaffirmed our belief that sustainable building isn’t just a trend - it’s the new standard. And we’re proud to be part of a community of Estonian companies leading that transformation.

We extend our gratitude to Enterprise Estonia (Trade Estonia) and the Estonian Embassy in Oslo for their support and for bringing together such an inspiring delegation of professionals dedicated to making the construction industry smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable.
