Lotus Timber OÜ development project

Within the framework of the project “Resource Efficiency Investment in an End-Jointing Machine” during the period from 01 January to 31 June, the company plans to acquire a new fully automated end-jointing machine. As a result, the efficiency and resource utilization of the production process will improve significantly. The introduction of the new end-jointing machine will speed up the end-joint milling process, enhance product quality, and reduce resource consumption. The project is funded by the Cohesion Fund.

Lotus Timber OÜ is implementing the EAS Development Program project "Lotus Timber Development Program" during the period from 01 July 2025 to 31 December 2026. The aim of the project is to carry out a significant further development of Lotus Timber OÜ’s current business model. In addition to the production and marketing of high-quality timber materials, the project also includes the development, production, sales, and marketing of an innovative and comprehensive proprietary facade solution, LotusTimberEcoFrame.

The project is co-financed by the European Union with funding amounting to €358 533,35.

Between 26 May 2025 and 30 November 2025, Lotus Timber OÜ is implementing the development voucher project No. 2021-2027.1.01.25-1213 “LotusTimberEcoClip Product Development”.

The aim of the project is to address both an engineering and an industry-specific challenge for the company. As a result of the project, an innovative and standard-compliant fastening strip prototype for facade board installation will be developed, enabling visually concealed, mechanically secure, and user-friendly assembly.

The project is co-funded by the European Union with a contribution of €17 920.

During the period 01.05.2025 – 31.05.2026, Lotus Timber OÜ will implement the digital transformation project “Lotus Timber Digital Transformation Support”. The objective of the project is to automate and digitalize the company’s business- and production-related critical information and data exchange processes, as well as production processes.

As a result, the company will increase its production capacity and added value creation, while reducing the need for workforce resources in the execution of daily processes.

The project is co-funded by the European Union Recovery Fund NextGenerationEU with a contribution of 261 917,28€.

Lotus Timber OÜ implemented in the time range of 25.03.2025-31.07.2025 an Innovation Share project with the purpose of registering a unique clip installation solution for wooden cladding, including all work for owning the intellectual rights and protection over this solution. Project was co-founded by European Union in the sum of 7500€.

Lotus Timber OÜ has implemented a development project titled "Enhancing Lotus Timber OÜ's Product Development Capability and Developing Export Activities" during the period from 18.01.2018 to 17.07.2019, co-financed by EAS with 499,800 euros from the company's development program. The project aimed to bring higher value-added products to the market and increase sales and export turnover.

Lotus Timber OÜ has implemented the second phase of the Company's Development Program during the period from 5.09.2019 to 31.01.2022, co-financed by EAS with 83,231.05 euros from the Company's Development Program measure. As a result of the project, the company's export capacity has increased and production efficiency has improved through new products. The project aimed to bring higher value-added products to the market and increase sales and export turnover.

Lotus Timber OÜ was investing in a modern technology-based production line from 2018 to 2022, which has improved resource utilization and expanded the product range. The project was co-financed by KIK with 2,000,000 euros as support from the European Regional Development Fund.

Lotus Timber OÜ received funding from the European Union's NextGenerationEU recovery fund for the implementation of the project digitalization roadmap. The project was implemented during the period from 1.11.2022 to 31.12.2024. The total cost of the project is 689,949.10 euros, of which the support amounts to 299,294.55 euros.

Lotus Timber OÜ received support from KIK for the implementation of the project "Acquisition of Packaging Line". The project will be implemented during the period from 01.01.2023 to 31.12.2024. The total cost of the project is 1,070,000 euros, of which the support amounts to 321,000 euros.
